School Planner | DormWay vs Alberto

Ever realize at 11pm something might be due tomorrow, but you're not sure? So you check Canvas, dig through your email, and open a 47-page syllabus just to find out. That's why we built DormWay while at University of Michigan. DormWay pulls your syllabi, Canvas assignments, and calendar into one place and shows you exactly what's due and when. Do Now. Up Next. Due Soon. Always current. WHAT DORMWAY DOES • Syllabus breakdown in minutes: assignments, deadlines, exam dates, grading weights, late policy. No reading 47 pages. • Canvas auto-sync: every assignment from every class, no manual entry, no checking "just in case." • Ask Ace anything about your courses: "When's my ECON 301 final?" "What do I need on the final to get a B?" Answers come from your actual syllabi, not the internet. • See the whole semester: conflicts, crunch weeks, and back-to-back deadlines show up before they become a crisis. WHY STUDENTS TRUST DORMWAY • Works at your school. No IT approval or university partnership needed. Canvas, Moodle, and Brightspace D2L supported. • Your data stays yours. We never sell it and never share it with your university. Read-only access to your LMS. Delete everything anytime. • Built by a student. Riley (23, University of Michigan) built DormWay because he kept missing things buried in syllabi. He still uses it every day. HOW IT WORKS 1. Add your syllabi in the app, or email them to syllabus@dormway.app 2. Connect Canvas, Moodle, or Brightspace in one tap 3. Open DormWay and see what's next No setup to maintain. It updates itself. Stop wondering what's due. Download DormWay.

You've sent hundreds of applications. You've heard the silence. Nothing. Just auto rejections and ghosting. Here is what almost nobody will tell you: job applications per opening roughly doubled in three years while recruiting teams were cut by more than half. A brutal search and a flat economy at the same time, for reasons that have nothing to do with you. That reframes a hundred rejections as a hundred documents that were mostly never read. Alberto is the system that makes you impossible to ignore. ONE TASK A DAY A 30-day plan with one named task per day and an honest time estimate. Most take about half an hour. Open the app, do today's task, close it. You don't have to hold the whole search in your head. A RESUME BUILT AS EVIDENCE Rebuild your resume as proof of what you did, not a list of what you were responsible for. Import the one you already have instead of starting from a blank page. Anyone can generate a resume now. Almost nobody can defend one. Alberto helps you find and structure evidence you already own. It does not invent claims for you. No numbers on your old job? Administrators, teachers, carers, nonprofit staff: there are four ways to find your evidence and show your impact. COMPANIES THAT FIT, NOT HUNDREDS THAT DON'T Score target roles on location, alignment, money, and posting date, so your effort goes where it can land. Save a job from your browser or your phone in one tap, any major job site should land right in your job tracker. Track every application, follow-up, and contact in one place instead of forty browser tabs. THE ANSWERS YOU DREAD, WRITTEN OUT Have an employment gap? A layoff? A run of short stints? Alberto is ready with clear frameworks, so you are never improvising the question you fear most. You can also build five STAR stories once and reuse them in your resume bullets and your interviews. Rehearse out loud with the teleprompter. PROGRESS YOU CONTROL The market may give you nothing back for weeks. Alberto tracks the part you control: today's task, your momentum, your streak. Miss a day and your streak survives. This is a long game and we built for it. WHEN YOU WANT A PERSON, NOT A PROMPT Join a small group of professionals at your level who check in weekly. Get direct feedback from a Fortune 500 Creative Director who has been hiring in this market for over 4 years. You're not behind. You're not the problem. You need the plan, and today's one thing.
