Master spoken English by shadowing real speech, line by line, at your own pace. Language Shadower turns audio and video into hands-on speaking practice. Read along with synced subtitles, repeat the parts that trip you up, and record yourself so you can hear the difference. The goal is active practice, not passive listening. Three ways to practice Shadower: Your home library. Import or create lessons, open the player, and work with speed control, loops, play ranges, bookmarks, and voice recordings. Karaoke Shadow: Follow subtitles in time with the audio, like karaoke. Work on timing and pronunciation. You can run a normal shadow session or record screen and microphone to review or share later. R1200D: Short repeat drills from your own subtitle files. Generate practice lines, record yourself, and run pronunciation assessment when you want feedback on accuracy, fluency, and clarity. Create new practice material Auto Generate: Choose from fixed real-life topics (travel, work, daily life, and more). The app builds audio and subtitles you can shadow right away. Pick a male, female, or random voice. Scan: Photograph a printed page. Text is read on your device; the app turns it into spoken audio with subtitles for shadowing. Text: Paste or type a short passage and generate audio with subtitles. Books: Browse public-domain books or open your own PDF, select text, and generate audio for practice. Import your own files Add content from Files, Google Drive, OneDrive, or a URL. Supports common audio and video formats plus SRT subtitles. Use podcasts, lectures, clips, or anything else you already study with. Player tools Subtitles synced to playback Playback speed from slow to fast Loop and play range (start/end times) Skip forward or back (10 sec through 10 min) Bookmarks for difficult spots Microphone recording on the device On-device translation of subtitle text where supported Credits Some features use credits (generation, assessment, and recording modes when enabled). Buy credit packs in the app. New users may receive starter credits or promo access depending on current offers. Optional tips are separate from credits. Built for shadowing Shadowing is the same method many interpreters and coaches use: you speak along with native-like audio in real time. Language Shadower is organized around that habit instead of endless word lists. Privacy No account is required to use the app. Your imported files and recordings stay on your device. We do not show ads or run third-party analytics in the app. When you use generation or assessment, only the data needed for that request is sent to our servers, as described in the in-app Privacy Policy. Download Language Shadower and start speaking with more confidence today. All em dashes are removed. Section labels use colons instead. If you want it even plainer (fewer bold headers, more like your original block style), say so and I can flatten it.

Shadow a native speaker — not after them, at the same time. Language Mirror is a shadowing app for Korean and English learners. You import real audio, clip the phrases that matter, and speak simultaneously with the recording until your pronunciation stops being a translation and starts being a reflex. This is not listen-then-repeat. This is simultaneous shadowing — the method used by interpreters, polyglots, and serious language learners to internalize rhythm, intonation, and natural cadence. Language Mirror is built around it. HOW IT WORKS 1. Import audio from files, video, recordings, or the Share Sheet. 2. Create clips — select the exact phrases you want to shadow. 3. Shadow and speak — loop each clip and speak along at the same time as the native speaker. 4. Use Progression mode to automatically ramp from slow to natural speed across repeats — progressive overload, applied to your ear and your mouth. 5. Track your progress — play counts and position are saved per clip so you pick up where you left off. PROGRESSION MODE Start slow. End natural. Progression mode automatically ramps playback speed across repeats so you can shadow comfortably at first, then gradually match a native speaker's real pace. This is the arc: slow shadowing → comfortable shadowing → full-speed shadowing → fluency. BUILT FOR FOCUS - Clean, calm interface with minimal distractions - No feed, no streaks, no social pressure - Transcript alignment shows timed text as you shadow - Favorites and quick-resume from the Practice tab FOR KOREAN & ENGLISH LEARNERS Whether you're an English speaker drilling Korean drama clips or a Korean speaker shadowing English podcasts — Language Mirror is built for you. Bring your own material: K-drama clips, podcast segments, lecture recordings, song verses — anything with audio becomes a shadowing exercise. Works with any language. Korean and English are where we start. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - Fully offline after import - No account required - No data collection - Everything stays on your device
