Mnml vs Terminal Notes

Mnml shows your apps as a list of names instead of a grid of icons. Each app is a full-width band, and the first is filled with your accent. Folders open inside the list, pressing Return in search opens the first match, and the list can be ordered by how often you use each app. The header shows the time, date, battery and today's step count, with space for your name and a short motto. You choose the accent, the background (a gradient or one of your photos), a block or seven-segment clock, and compact, regular or tall bands. Band numbers and side rails can be turned off. Your setup can be shared as an image. Each image includes a look code, and entering it in Mnml applies the same accent, background, clock and band style to your own apps. Widgets put your top apps, the time or your steps on the Home Screen and Lock Screen. The Mnml Search control opens straight into search from Control Center, the Lock Screen or the Action button. Eleven animated characters, one for each Dro1d Labs app, can sit in the corner of Mnml's home screen. They respond to steps, battery level and the time of day, and stay off until you turn them on.
