MAPIR SCANNER vs ComPhysics Green UV

MAPIR DAQ-M modular spectroradiometer device is required. The MAPIR DAQ-M is an ultra compact Bluetooth (BLE) spectroradiometer designed as a modular unit that can be inserted into various housings to perform specific spectrum measurement functions. Housings include narrow angle of view versions designed for object reflectance measurements (field spectroradiometer) and wide angle of view versions for ambient light spectrum irradiance measurements (DLS: downwelling light sensor). While its size is compact, the features and performance is comparable to conventional industry equipment. The MAPIR SCANNER mobile application is required to view the live data stream from the MAPIR DAQ-M spectroradiometer, save the current live spectrum as well as configure the recording schedule to measure the spectrum over time. Measurements can be saved to the DAQ-M and extracted using the MAPIR SCANNER application. Once the measurements are saved to the mobile device they can be easily exported for further analysis and processing in MAPIR's software.

IMPORTANT: This app requires the ComPhysics CP-UV01 UV Indicator and CP-UV01-SA smartphone accessory. Without the dedicated optical hardware, the displayed values are not valid UV measurements. ComPhysics Green UV uses the iPhone camera to analyze the green visible emission produced by the CP-UV01 optical system. It provides a relative UV signal called CRU (ComPhysics Relative UV) and helps you compare conditions, save results, and observe changes over time. The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs and does not automatically upload measurement data to ComPhysics. Files leave the app only when you choose to share or export them. MEASUREMENT NOTICE ComPhysics Green UV is a relative comparison tool. It is not an absolute UV irradiance meter, certified spectroradiometer, medical device, safety-certification system, or official spectral transmittance instrument. Results depend on the iPhone model, selected camera, settings, accessory alignment, ambient light, distance, angle, source spectrum, and measurement geometry. A low reading does not prove that a UV source is safe.
