bail.out is a simple group polling app for plans. Friends create events, invite each other, and confirm attendance through anonymous votes, so the whole group knows whether something is still on, without anyone feeling pressured to commit publicly. Use it for casual hangouts, group dinners, weekend trips, study sessions, team outings, anywhere a clear yes-or-no headcount helps. HOW IT WORKS 1. CREATE A PLAN - Pick a date, place, and the friends you want there. Send invites by text. 2. VOTE PRIVATELY - Each person privately confirms whether they can make it. Votes are aggregated into a simple count. Individual responses are never shown to anyone. 3. KNOW WHERE THINGS STAND - You set the threshold for how many confirmations are needed. If interest falls below it, the group is notified with a neutral message that the plan didn't come together this time. FEATURES • Anonymous group polling. Only the total count is ever shown, so people can be honest without worrying about hurting feelings. • Share one link. Set your group size and drop the link in any group chat. No need to add every name. • Know when it's on. When everyone has answered and the plan is still happening, the whole group sees it. • Vote on the venue. Add multiple location options and let the group pick where to meet. • Emergency bail.out. Ready to leave a party? Ping a few friends and see who's heading out with you. No location is shared, and requests expire after 30 minutes. • Plain event mode. Not every plan needs a poll. Toggle voting off and use it as a clean group event tracker. • Sign in with iCloud. No accounts, no passwords. Apple handles identity. • iMessage invites. Friends with bail.out can open the plan directly. New guests can download the app, return to the invitation, and open their plan. • Real-time updates. See the headcount update live as the group responds. • Add to Calendar and directions in one tap. PRIVACY bail.out is built around respecting privacy. Individual votes are aggregated into counts. The app never queries or displays who voted which way. No analytics SDKs, no tracking, no ads. Your contact list is never uploaded: only the numbers you choose to invite or ping are stored, so friends can be matched across devices. A simple, respectful way for friends to plan together.
