Freelance income is unpredictable. Your tax bill shouldn't be. FreelancerTax tracks what you earn and what you spend, then tells you the one number that matters: how much of each payment to set aside for tax. Built for five countries: Pick yours and the whole app adapts currency, contributions, tax bands, mileage rates, and payment deadlines. • United States: self-employment tax, standard deduction, the 20% QBI deduction, federal brackets, and state tax for all 50 states plus DC • United Kingdom: Class 4 National Insurance, the personal allowance and its taper, and separate Scottish rates • Canada: CPP and CPP2 contributions, federal brackets, the basic personal amount, and every province and territory • Australia: resident brackets and the Medicare levy, with the low-income shade-in • Nigeria: the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 bands and rent relief One number to act on: Your set-aside rate is the share of each payment to hold back. It's calculated marginally the tax your freelance work actually causes on top of any salary or other income you have so it reflects your real position, not an average. Log it in seconds: Add income and expenses in a couple of taps. Scan a receipt and the amount and merchant are read on device. Log business drives and the deduction is applied at the correct statutory rate for the date of the trip. Never miss a deadline: See your payment schedule with real dates quarterly estimated payments, payments on account, PAYG instalments, or a single annual self-assessment, depending on where you are. Optional reminders arrive five days ahead. See the shape of your year: Monthly income against expenses, your top clients, where the money goes by category, and a year-on-year comparison as your history builds. Hand it over cleanly: Export transactions and mileage as CSV whenever you need to — for your accountant, or for your own filing. Your data stays yours: Everything is stored on your device. No accounts. No bank connections. No analytics SDKs. No third-party trackers. Receipt images are processed on device. Export everything as CSV, import it back on another device, or delete it all, at any time. Honest about what it is: FreelancerTax gives simplified estimates to help you plan. It does not file anything for you, and it is not tax advice. Some rules are deliberately simplified expense categories are for your own organisation and don't change the calculation, and some regional rates are representative rather than exact. Confirm your figures with a tax professional before filing. FreelancerTax Pro unlocks your tax estimate and full breakdown. Everything else, logging, receipts, mileage, exports is included. Payment will be charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your account settings on the App Store after purchase.
