Translate connection. YapLink is a translator that specializes in conversation. It works by letting each person use an earbud to hear their language while using their phone's mic to speak, so translations can speak while you're still talking. It also speaks your translations in your own voice, in the listener's language, using AI. It's miles beyond passing an app back and forth, for the smoothest translated conversation experience available. Use one phone, or many. Two of you can share a single phone with an earbud each, so the left and right earbuds speak different languages. Or every speaker joins on their own phone, with their own microphone and their own earbuds, and a whole group talks across languages at once. Both setups are supported, and both are free. • Sound like yourself. Your translations can be spoken in your own voice, in any of the 49 languages, so what reaches the other person still sounds like you. • Hear it mid-sentence. Translation starts while the other person is still speaking, instead of waiting for them to finish. • Talk and listen at the same time. Nobody takes turns with a device, and nobody waits for a translation to finish before answering. People can work in tandem, the way a real conversation actually runs. • Minimal crosstalk. With a phone each, everyone hears their translation through their own earbuds, so very little of one person's audio bleeds into someone else's microphone. • Partner and group conversations. Each speaker picks their own language, so up to 8 people on their own phones can hold a single conversation in 8 different languages. HOW IT WORKS • Talking with one person? Share one phone: give them an earbud, pick their language, and start talking • With a group, create a room and share the code, or let someone scan the QR to join instantly • Everyone picks the language they speak. Nobody has to agree on one • Speak normally. Everyone hears you in the language they chose MORE • Live captions, so you can read along or catch a word you missed • Text-only mode for when reading beats listening • No accounts, no sign-up, and nothing to pass back and forth 49 LANGUAGES English, Español, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Português, Kiswahili, Afrikaans Speak any of them. Hear any of them. Any combination works. The interface is translated into all 49 as well, so the app is in your language from the moment you open it. PRIVACY YapLink does not record or store your conversations. Audio is translated as it streams and is thrown away immediately. It is processed by Microsoft Azure's speech service purely to do the translating. If you use your own voice, your recording stays on your phone, and a copy goes to Fish Audio to speak your translations and is never stored on a server. There are no accounts, so there is nothing tying a conversation to you. Full policy: https://yaplink.co/privacy.html Ads support the app. A one-time purchase removes them for good.
