Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Flight Tracker at 5.0 against Yonder's 3.0. Flight Tracker also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (15 vs 2). Yonder's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (100% vs 91%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Flight Tracker sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Yonder asks for nothing beyond the download.
Flight Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flight Tracker has 15 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 91% of Flight Tracker's written reviews are positive against 100% of Yonder's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Flight Tracker ships an update every 10 days, Yonder every 8 months. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
