Track every pot from wet clay to the finished shelf. ClayNote helps potters and ceramicists document, track and reflect on every piece — from the first idea to the final glaze. Photograph a piece, tick off each stage as it dries, gets trimmed, bisqued and glazed, and write down what you did while you still remember it. FOLLOW EVERY PIECE Ideas, Formed, Trimmed, Bisqued, Glazed, Finished. Tick each stage as your piece gets there, and see at a glance what's drying on the shelf and what's waiting for the kiln. NOTES THAT COME BACK TO YOU Write a note at any stage — the clay body, how thin you pulled it, which shelf it sat on. Next time you make something similar, ClayNote shows you what you wrote the last time round. MAP YOUR SURFACE DECISIONS Record glazes, underglazes, slips, oxides and stamps, and mark on the photo itself exactly where each one went. YOUR WORK IS YOURS One tap saves everything — every piece, note and photo — as a spreadsheet and a folder of pictures you can keep on your computer or a cloud drive. No account, nothing locked in. SPARKS Save the shapes, glaze recipes and reels you love from Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and YouTube, and keep them right next to your own work. ALSO • Your materials and methods, customisable to your studio • Collections and tags to organise your work your way • Search your collection by name, grouped by month • A home screen widget • Reminders to keep your journal going between sessions
Kiln It

Kiln It keeps your pottery studio organized from the first idea to a finished piece or sale, on iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. FOLLOW EACH PIECE Create a photo-based collection with clay bodies, glazes, notes, tags and storage locations. Every piece gets its own number, so near-identical pieces stay easy to tell apart, and you can print QR labels for them. Use the Work Board to follow progress through the studio and keep a journal of photographs and changes. PLAN YOUR STUDIO TIME See planned checks and active work in Studio Today. Record firings and their linked pieces, save drafts while capturing new work, and choose optional studio reminders. On Apple Watch, see upcoming checks and kiln loads and record a firing step. LEARN FROM YOUR GLAZES Log how each piece was glazed: every layer, its coats, and whether it was dipped, brushed, poured or sprayed. Keep glaze recipes, preserve recipe versions, and record test tiles and results in Glaze Lab so you can return to combinations that worked. SELL YOUR WORK Plan market events, prepare packing lists and price labels, record sales, and reconcile the event. Track pieces on consignment, each shop's share, and what you are owed. Keep commissions and wholesale orders with deposits, due dates and the pieces made for them. Review your sales history and revenue trends in one place. WORK IT OUT AT THE BENCH Studio Tools estimates the wet size for a finished size, the electricity cost of a firing, and a starting price from your materials and time. KEEP YOUR STUDIO WITH YOU Your records work on device without an account. Export inventory and sales spreadsheets or a complete studio backup. Preview a backup before restoring it, use recovery copies, or choose a shared folder in Files for the backups you want to keep elsewhere. Built for studio potters, ceramicists, market vendors and anyone who wants to remember how a piece came together.
