Find out when you can run your evaporative cooler, based on the favorable weather conditions in your forecast. If you live in a dry, arid climate and use a whole-house evaporative cooler to keep cool, it can be hard to know when it'll actually work! Sometimes it's fine in the morning, but too humid or hot indoors later in the evening when you'll need to run the A/C. Using your outdoor weather forecast, this app gives your indoor cooler forecast! You'll get: * An easy-to-read dashboard, showing the indoor temperature and indoor humidity that your cooler would produce, right now. * Your forecast for the hours and days ahead, to know when and how long you can use Cooling mode! Or when you could switch to Fan mode for extra ventilation. Most importantly, it shows when the weather won't be cooperative, so you can switch back to A/C before it gets too sticky or hot indoors. * Your cost($) and energy(kWh) savings estimates from using a swamp cooler vs air conditioning. * Your historical weather summarized as annual reports of how effective evaporative cooling was, in terms of hours of A/C reduced, kWh saved, and dollars unspent. * Customizable settings so you can pick your own temperature comfort zone, humidity tolerance, local energy rates, A/C sizing and efficiency values, and more. Best of all, when you customize your settings, your forecast of mode changes is also updated, and you can see the effects on energy and cost savings. * Pick your specific "Pad Cooling Power" setting to match your pad's performance, for any pad type: Aspen, DuraCool mesh, Honeycomb, CellDek, etc. For fun, you can explore the cooler forecasts from other sites around the world, in the Explore tab. You can see their weather and savings data to help contrast it with your own. If you don't have a swamp cooler, you can instead use the app to judge when to run a box fan in your windows, using your personal Fan Mode comfort zone settings. Take the mystery out of running your evaporative cooler with a personalized forecast that tells you what it will feel like indoors and how to save the most with your cooler.

One tap. One second. Done. Instantly see how strong the UV is right now. UV rays reach your skin on cloudy days and even in winter. UV radiation is the leading cause of skin aging — it's a year-round concern. But opening a weather app, scrolling through screens, hunting for the UV section? Too much hassle. This app is different. Open it, and you're done. Key Features · Instant Check — The moment you open the app, your current UV index appears. No loading. No scrolling. · Hourly Forecast — See how UV levels change throughout the day at a glance. Plan your outdoor time smarter. · Intuitive Guidance — Not just numbers. Emoji indicators and clear level descriptions help anyone understand UV conditions instantly. · Personalized Safe Exposure Time — Select your skin type (Fitzpatrick scale) and instantly see how many minutes you can safely stay in the sun without sunscreen at the current UV level. Because everyone's skin is different. · Instant Share — Share a summary image of the current UV conditions with friends and family in one tap. · UV Level Change Alerts — Get a push notification the moment UV levels change. Protect your skin before it's too late. WHO UV Index Guidelines: The UV Index was developed by the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Meteorological Organization, and other international bodies as a global standard for UV reporting. Here's what each level means: · 0–2 (Low) — Minimal risk. You can safely enjoy the outdoors. · 3–5 (Moderate) — Seek shade at midday. Wear sunglasses, a hat, and apply SPF 30+ sunscreen. · 6–7 (High) — Reduce sun exposure between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Sunscreen and protective clothing are essential. · 8–10 (Very High) — Take extra precautions. Fair-skinned individuals may burn in under 10 minutes. · 11+ (Extreme) — Avoid outdoor exposure if possible. Unprotected fair skin can burn in less than 5 minutes. Note: These recommendations are based on lightly tanned skin (Fitzpatrick Type II). If you have lighter skin, children, or are on photosensitizing medication, take extra care. Those with darker skin tones may tolerate more exposure, but UV damage is cumulative for everyone. Perfect For · Anyone who wants a fast UV check before heading out · People who care about skin protection and sunscreen timing · Those who want just the essential info without a complex weather app · Runners, hikers, commuters — anyone active under the sun UV check — one second is all it takes.
