About

Divit

Features

Divit is a private notebook. Your notes are encrypted on your iPhone before they go anywhere. No account is needed, there are no ads and no tracking. Nobody else can read your notes. Not even us. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - Every note is encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM. - The key lives in the iOS Keychain and is never sent anywhere in readable form. - Unlock with Face ID or your device passcode. Lock the app with one tap. - Without Divit Cloud, Divit makes no network requests: your notes never leave your phone. YOURS TO KEEP - During setup you receive a recovery code. When you move to a new iPhone, your encrypted notes come along in your device backup and open with that code. - The code is never stored or sent anywhere. If you lose both your phone and the code, nobody can recover your notes, including us. Keep it somewhere safe. WRITE AND FIND - Fast search across titles, note text and tags. Search ignores accents and letter case, including Turkish characters. - Organise with notebooks and sub-notebooks, tags and pinned notes. - Archive notes you are done with. In the trash, swipe a note to restore it or delete it forever, or select several at once. - Notes open in a calm reading view. Tap the pencil when you want to write. - Light or dark theme, plus an option to hide note text in the list when someone can see your screen. TAKE YOUR NOTES ANYWHERE - Export all notes or a single notebook as PDF or Markdown. - Make an encrypted Divit backup and restore it on another phone with your recovery code. - Share a single note as text or as a PDF. PDF and Markdown files are not encrypted, and the app tells you so before you export. OPTIONAL: DIVIT CLOUD Use Divit on your Windows PC too? With a Divit Cloud subscription your notes sync between iPhone and computer, end to end encrypted. Our server stores only encrypted data that it cannot read. Add your computer by scanning a QR code, or move to a new phone with your cloud recovery code. Try it free for 14 days. Divit Cloud is an optional auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly). Payment is charged to your Apple ID. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your App Store account settings. Everything else in Divit is free.
