Gas in Iceland is a rip-off — if you don't know where to look. Prices for the SAME fuel vary by 15% across the island. On a 1,300 km Ring Road trip, that's real money. GasMap Iceland turns every gas station on the island into a color-coded money-saving map. GREEN = cheap. RED = rip-off. One glance, and you know exactly where to fill up. ◆ LIVE PRICE MAP — 245 stations, updated hourly. N1, Olís, ÓB, Orkan, Atlantsolía, Costco — all of them, color-coded by how much they'll hurt your wallet. ◆ CHEAPEST NEAR YOU — Instantly see the 3 cheapest stations within 50 km. Sometimes a 5-minute detour pays for your coffee. Sometimes your lunch. ◆ PETROL OR DIESEL — Driving a diesel rental? One tap re-colors the entire map for diesel prices. ◆ AURORA FORECAST — Tonight's northern lights probability as one big number, plus the clearest region to drive to. KP index, cloud cover, 3-day outlook. No science degree needed. ◆ WEATHER + CURRENCY — Real conditions for 6 regions, 3-day forecasts, and a live ISK converter so you actually know what you're paying. Built by people who drive Iceland, for people who drive Iceland. One fill-up at the wrong station costs more than this app. GasMap Iceland — drive smart, pay less, see the lights.

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Krapp at Free against GasMap Iceland's $3.99. Krapp also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.6). GasMap Iceland's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
