RevIt is a car engine sound simulator for iPhone. You start a car's engine, press a virtual gas pedal and shift a 6-speed manual gearbox while the app generates the engine sound live in real time. It includes 25+ cars with V8, V10, V12, inline-6, flat-6, boxer and rotary engines. DRIVE MODE – THE ENGINE SIMULATOR Every engine sound is generated live, not a recorded loop. The sound reacts to exactly how hard you press the pedal, so no two revs sound the same. • Gas and brake pedals – press to rev, slide down to floor it • 6-speed manual gearbox – shift the H-pattern stick straight or diagonally • Rev counter, speed and gear readout with a rev limiter • Pops and bangs when you lift off the throttle, plus Straight Pipe mode for a louder exhaust • Haptic feedback that pulses with the engine • Realistic performance – each car matches its real-world 0–100 km/h time and top speed • Hold the revs at the limiter too long and the engine blows, so you have to start it again 25+ CARS, EVERY ENGINE TYPE • Cross-plane and flat-plane V8 muscle and track cars • V10 and V12 supercars • JDM cars: turbo inline-6, rotary and inline-4 • Boxer-4, flat-6 sports cars and an Italian V6 Tap the heart to save cars to your garage. FREE VS. PRO RevIt is free to download. Some features require a paid Car Sounds Pro subscription: • Free: browse all cars, save cars to your garage, and drive any car by watching a short video ad. The unlock lasts until you leave that car's screen or the engine blows. The app shows ads. • Car Sounds Pro (paid): drive every car without watching videos, no ads. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS • Car Sounds Pro is offered as Weekly and Annual auto-renewable subscriptions. Prices are shown in the app before purchase. • Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. • The subscription renews automatically unless it is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. • Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. WHO IT'S FOR • Car enthusiasts who want to hear how different engines sound • Anyone who wants to practice shifting a manual gearbox for fun • Fans of car simulator and driving games • Content creators who need engine sounds for videos FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Is RevIt free? Yes. You can drive any car for free by watching a short video. Car Sounds Pro removes ads and video unlocks. Are the sounds recorded? The Drive mode engine sound is generated in real time, so it responds to your throttle and gear. Please enjoy responsibly and never use the app while driving a real car. Exhaust Note is not an app that plays back engine recordings. It synthesizes the sound from scratch, every moment, from the firing order created by cylinder layout and crankpin phasing. Why a crossplane V8 rumbles, why a flatplane screams, why a V12 idle throbs — it all comes from the physics of firing intervals. This app computes that physics in real time. ■ Real-time synthesized exhaust - Zero recorded samples. Crank-angle integration → per-cylinder firing → exhaust-pipe propagation, computed every sample - Distinct primary pipe, mid-pipe and muffler model for every engine - Muffler continuously adjustable from straight pipe to quiet ■ Engine collection - Presets from inline-3 to V12, based on real-car specs - Crossplane vs flatplane V8 — same eight cylinders, completely different sound - Firing order and rumble index shown as specs ■ Pop and bang + flames - Afterburn pops on throttle lift and downshifts - Flames at the 3D exhaust tips, same instant and same bank as the sound ■ Tunnel mode - Reverb that wraps the sound in wall reflections, like driving into a tunnel ■ A living 3D machine - Crankshaft, pistons and connecting rods rotate in phase with the sound - Gearbox cutaway: constantly meshed gear pairs and real synchro-sleeve movement - Observe the mechanism at 1/10 slow motion, or switch to real time for phase match ■ The feel of driving - Torque-converter launch, rev matching, manual H-pattern shifter - Haptics on rev limiter, wheelspin, shifts and ABS - Analog pedals: press position controls pedal travel Built by a gearhead, for gearheads.
