About

Thalam

Features

Thalam helps you plan your day in time blocks, track what you actually do, and see the gap between intention and reality. PLAN YOUR DAY Build a realistic schedule using time blocks. Assign tasks to specific windows so you always know what you should be working on. Mark blocks as important to get reminder ladders before they start. TRACK YOUR REALITY Tap any task to start the timer. Thalam records exactly when you worked and for how long โ€” not what you planned, but what actually happened. Pause mid-session and switch to something urgent without losing your progress. Up to three tasks can sit paused while you handle interruptions. SEE THE DIFFERENCE The Actuals view lays every tracked session across a timeline, day by day. Compare what you planned against what you did. Identify which hours of the day are actually productive and which ones slip away. FRICTION SIGNALS After a few weeks of tracking planned blocks, Thalam surfaces estimation bias by category. If you consistently plan 1 hour for Coding but it always takes 1 hour 40 minutes, Friction Signals shows you โ€” so you can plan honestly next time. DAILY REFLECTION A gentle evening prompt asks how the day went: on track, underestimated, interrupted, or deliberately changed? Add a note and set tomorrow's top priority. Over time, patterns emerge in the Stats tab. LIVE ACTIVITY & DYNAMIC ISLAND Your active timer appears on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island โ€” task name, elapsed time, and a live progress ring. Glance at your phone without unlocking it. TODOS Capture one-off tasks alongside reusable tasks. Todos leave your list the moment you mark them complete. Free users get five ongoing todos; Pro unlocks unlimited. IDEAS Capture fleeting thoughts without breaking your flow. Ideas stay in their own space, separate from tasks, until you are ready to act on them. EXPENSES Log spending by category and set a monthly budget. The Stats tab shows your burn rate at a glance โ€” how much is left, how much is gone, and where it went. THALAM PRO One-time purchase. No subscription. Pro unlocks unlimited tasks, todos, and categories; full Stats history (Week, Month, Quarter); and all future Pro features. Your data lives in your private iCloud container. No server, no account, no analytics.
