Halfpast vs Mesavo

Welcome to Halfpast! A event-dating app designed to go away from "fast-food effect" of modern romance. We believe that "doom-swiping" leads to zero decisions, and even worse, to not building a connection nor a real in-person date. By replacing endless scrolling with closed, time-limited events, HalfPast goes more into intentionality, helping to make every connection more meaningful, and potentially closer to a real date in real life, which in the end, it the only thing that matters for a dating app built for you. KEY FEATURES Seamless events: No more endless swiping. We offer you to join a curated, with properly chose people, event, for a more active, genuine "live" experience. You’ll be introduced to a small group of people who actually meet your preferences. All of you will chose who to talk with and see which conversations sparks more. A meaningful choice: A match here is designed to mean something, and to not be cluttered by any "infinite choice freezing". You match only after a conversation, if you feel like the first spark is there. We believe that the effort and interest you already put to know each other will help even more to go to a date. From that moment, our work is done, and we hope to not see you again, after you found the right one :) Equity, balance and respect: We prioritize a balanced, curated community where everyone has an equal opportunity to connect, talk, and meet in the real world. We put attention and effort to encourage people to express themself at their best, to open up, but first thing first to be respectful. We work behind the scenes to ensure a balanced event where everyone has a chance to be known and listened, and at the same time is not overwhelmed but too many messages, contacts, inputs. You don't have less choice, it is just slowed down, as meaningful things, human connections requires some time, and delicacy. Quality over quantity. Equal ground. Real dates. Welcome to the slow dating movement.
