Reading Rocks vs My Readologist

Transform reading time into an adventure that your child will love. With just a few simple steps, our app brings short stories to life by letting children step into the roles of their favorite characters. It’s the perfect way to ignite a lifelong passion for reading—and have fun doing it!

My Readologist is a science-of-reading–based app that teaches kids to read with clarity and confidence. Using a structured, syllable-by-syllable approach, learners discover how words work instead of guessing — and they get instant AI-powered feedback to support accurate decoding at every step. Kids move through six interactive levels that build mastery of all syllable types using engaging lessons, decodable text, and playful practice activities. Every response is evaluated in real time so learners know right away when they’re on track. Whether you’re supporting a beginning reader or helping a striving reader build essential foundational skills, My Readologist makes reading finally make sense.
