Business, Medical, and Charity trips each use their respective deduction rates. Rates are tied to the year of each trip, so updating this year’s rate will never change calculations from previous years. OPTIONAL - Customize automatic tracking to fit your needs: Choose the trigger speed for auto-start Adjust the stop delay Set a minimum distance to ignore very short trips FOLLOW YOUR TRIP WHILE YOU DRIVE A Live Activity on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island displays your live distance and a running timer. You can confirm that your drive is being recorded without opening the app. BATTERY-FRIENDLY BACKGROUND TRACKING You stay in control. Limit automatic tracking to times when your phone is plugged in - ideal for rideshare and delivery drivers who keep their devices charging. PRIVACY FIRST - YOUR TRIPS STAY WITH YOU There is no sign-up, and our servers are never involved. Your trips are stored in a local database on your iPhone and are never uploaded to us. Street addresses and place names are retrieved through Apple’s Maps service, while your mileage log remains on your device. Create a backup file you own, then restore it whenever needed. (iCloud Sync coming soon) No ads. No tracking SDKs. Choose the units that work for you: Miles or kilometers: (mph or km/h) BACKGROUND LOCATION Smart Mileage uses your location in the background, including when the app is closed or not in use, to automatically detect and measure drives. This functionality requires the “Always” location setting. Deduction amounts are estimates based on standard IRS mileage rates and are not tax advice. Confirm your figures with a tax professional before filing.

Turn your work drives into organized mileage records. FlatMile logs drives automatically and free, lets you sort business from personal, and helps you prepare a report to share. No FlatMile account required. AUTOMATIC LOGGING, FREE FlatMile notices when you start driving and records the trip in the background, so there is no button to remember. Logging is free and has no trip limit. Tell it which car is yours and drives are attributed to that vehicle. BUSINESS OR PERSONAL, IN ONE SWIPE Review each drive and swipe: right for business, left for personal. Undo is always there. Add a purpose note, and correct a distance or an endpoint when you need to. REPORTS YOU CAN HAND OVER With a subscription, generate a PDF or CSV for any tax year in your log. Every report states its basis: the distances, the rate that applied to each period, and where that rate came from. It is a plain mileage record. Nothing in it is addressed to a revenue service. THE RATE IS YOURS TO CHOOSE - Standard: the published rate for the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada or the Netherlands, shown with its source and the date that source was verified. - Custom: your own rate, or the one your employer pays, labeled as yours. - Mileage only: distances and the business/personal split, with no monetary section at all. Rates apply by the date of the trip, so changing a rate never rewrites last year's numbers. NO ACCOUNT There is no FlatMile sign-up. Your drives are kept on your iPhone rather than on our servers, which also means they are not synced between devices and cannot be restored by us if you lose the phone. With a subscription you can export every drive as CSV or PDF at any time. Turn on iCloud Drive backup to keep your own copy of the log. WHAT THE SUBSCRIPTION COVERS Automatic logging and adding drives by hand are free. Without a subscription, each logged drive shows its day, time, destination and duration, and its distance, route, value and business or personal answer stay locked. An annual subscription unlocks every logged drive at once and adds one-swipe classification, PDF reports and CSV export. Drives you could see while subscribed, including during the free trial, stay open if the subscription ends. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings. Privacy policy: https://flatmile.com/privacy Terms of use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/
