Juromenha vs Guide Sofia Audio Tours

Juromenha AR application brings to you a unique and magical experience.

Audio guides used to be boring. We fixed that. Meet Sofia: a sharp, slightly skeptical local guide who lives in your phone and refuses to read you a list of dates. You get the good stuff instead. Why Cologne Cathedral finished six hundred years behind schedule. Why the Eiffel Tower was hated by artists and saved by radio. Why Alcatraz was named for pelicans and became famous for everything else. Planning a trip? Tell us where and when you'll be, and we'll guide you through the most interesting things that fit your profile: your interests, your pace, the time you actually have. Stories start on their own as you arrive. That's smart tourism: built for you, not for the average tourist. What you get • 1,800+ audio guides, and stories for 380,000+ places around the world • Stories that start on their own when you reach a stop. GPS does the work, you keep your eyes on the building • Plans built for you: say where and when, and get a route through the best things that fit your profile • Questions welcome: ask Sofia about a painting, a statue, lunch, or that odd building on the corner • Offline mode: download guides and itineraries on Wi-Fi, then walk without mobile data • Narration in 30+ languages • Travel DNA: the more you explore, the better Sofia knows what you actually care about • Augmented reality at selected sites, so you can see buildings that aren't there anymore Self-guided tours, your way Use it as a self-guided walking tour, a city audio tour, a museum audio guide or a travel guide that fits in your pocket. Explore at your own pace, with or without a connection, no tour group required. Researched first, then told well Every guide starts with research and fact-checking. Then it gets rewritten for the ear: short, human and occasionally a little cheeky. Sofia keeps the facts. She just refuses to make them boring. How it works 1. Pick a city, a museum or a monument 2. Put your phone in your pocket 3. Walk. Sofia speaks up when there's something worth hearing Good to know: chat, route planning and new downloads need an internet connection.
