Focus on your workout, not the clock. LuckOut Timer is a simple work and rest interval timer for HIIT, Tabata, circuits, and everyday training. SET YOUR PACE Choose work and rest intervals from 5 seconds to 5 minutes. Start with a 3-2-1 preparation countdown on iPhone, then follow the large countdown and clear WORK and REST screens. TRACK YOUR SESSION See completed rounds and total work time at a glance. Pause when you need a break, resume when you are ready, or reset to begin again. Running and paused sessions restore when you reopen the app. CLEAR CUES Hear spoken cues while LuckOut is open. The iPhone screen stays awake during an active workout. A Live Activity displays the current interval on the Lock Screen and, on supported iPhones, Dynamic Island. APPLE WATCH Use the independent Apple Watch app to set intervals and run a timer from your wrist. Haptic cues play while the Watch app is active. The timer catches up when you return. Phone and Watch sessions do not sync. WHEN YOUR IPHONE IS LOCKED Go and Rest sounds require notification sound permission. LuckOut schedules up to 60 phase changes at a time; reopening the app replenishes them. Silent mode and Focus may suppress sounds. If the Live Activity shows Open Timer, tap it to refresh the current interval. Use Pause or Reset to remove the timer card and stop scheduled sounds. No account required. Super Awesome Workout 4000
Read full descriptionHide full description
The 4000 is a workout app. It picks the workout. It counts the seconds. It says the exercise names out loud so you don't have to think. You just show up. No streaks. No guilt. No email. No "journey." WHAT THE 4000 DOES • Picks a 15 to 20 minute workout based on what day it is. • Strength days: 6 exercises, 2 circuits, roughly 18 minutes of work. • Cardio days: structured intervals on the treadmill or wherever you have. • Rest days: it's asleep. So are you. Or go for a walk. Whatever. HOW IT WORKS • Tap START. The 4000 counts you in. • It announces every exercise out loud, in a font called Bungee, in a voice that means it. • Between sets, it waits. Rest never auto-advances. Tap when you're ready, or say "ready" if you have the mic on. • Locked screen, headphones unplugged, app in the background. It keeps counting. Live Activity and Dynamic Island show the timer without you having to look. EQUIPMENT • A bit of floor space. • Optionally: dumbbells, a band, a treadmill. • That's the list. WHAT THE 4000 WILL NEVER DO • Guilt you about a missed day. Yesterday didn't happen. Today still can. • Track a streak. • Ask for your email. • Sync to a wearable so a CSV of your heart rate ends up on three servers. • Use the word "mindful." WHO MADE THIS A small team that wanted a workout app that respects your time and shuts up during rest. The 4000 was born in a rendering pipeline in April 2026. Its whole job is to count seconds and pick the right six exercises for a Wednesday. The 4000 is proud of you. (That's just an if-statement. But still.)
