It utilities only native apple cryptographic API to avoid security vulnerabilities. FileCryptor uses the RSA algorithm with OAEP padding to provide security features. You can generate, share, import, export and manage key pairs for different purposes. You can encrypt any private files (video, audio, photo, PDF, text and other file types) for secure storage. You can exchange public keys with your friends and use each other's public key to encrypt files to ensure secure transmission. All your key pair is encrypted and stored locally on your device so only you can access them. With "Export Keypair" feature you can transfer your key pairs safely between your own devices.The security features provided by the FileCryptor do not require a network connection. All your file encryption and decryption operations are performed on the locall device. CypherAir is a fully offline, open-source OpenPGP encryption tool built for iOS, iPadOS, macOS and VisionOS. It makes zero network connections. There is no telemetry, no tracking, and no possibility of data leakage. Two Encryption Profiles • Universal (Profile A) — Interoperable with GnuPG and all major PGP implementations. RFC 4880 compliant, employing Ed25519 and X25519 with SEIPDv1. • Advanced (Profile B) — Implements the latest OpenPGP standard, RFC 9580, with Ed448 and X448, authenticated encryption via AEAD (SEIPDv2), and Argon2id passphrase protection.
