The Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) is an international nonprofit that serves as the professional association for theatre educators. EdTA is the parent organization of the International Thespian Society, a student honor society that has inducted more than 2.5 million Thespians since 1929, and producer of the International Thespian Festival and Theatre Education Conference. The International Thespian Festival (ITF) is summer’s premier celebration of theatre, where theatre students immerse themselves in art form by showcasing their talents on stage, working behind the scenes, auditioning for college theatre programs, attending performances of all kinds, or learning new theatre skills and techniques in workshops. Participants leave ITF with a network of fellow theatre makers and memories that will last a lifetime.
