NFM

NFM: NAS File Manager is an unobtrusive, practical tool for accessing network storage you own or are authorized to use on your iPhone or iPad via SMB or WebDAV. Key Features • NAS Connections Add, edit and manage SMB and WebDAV connections, and discover supported SMB services on your local network. • File Browsing and Search Browse folders in list or grid view, see image thumbnails, and search by name in the current folder or recursively through subfolders. Bookmark frequently used folders for quick access. • File Management Upload, download, create folders, rename and delete items, and copy, cut and paste regular files within the same connection. Naming conflicts are handled with an automatically generated name or a clear message to avoid directly overwriting existing files. • Task Management View uploads, downloads, file copies and local video compression tasks in one place. Eligible tasks support pause, resume and cancellation, and some transfers can resume after an interruption. • File and Media Previews Preview common image, audio, video, text, PDF and Office formats. Browse and zoom images, and seek through videos. Files beyond the built-in preview capabilities can be downloaded and opened in another app. • System Sharing and Photos Receive files shared from other apps and upload them to your NAS, or download NAS files and share them with other apps. Save photos and videos to the system photo library when you choose. • Standalone Local Video Compression Choose videos from Photos or Files, compress them on your device and save them to your photo library—no NAS connection required. You can also choose to compress videos and upload them to a selected NAS. Compression does not require processing on developer servers. • Interface and Device Layouts Supports Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English, with light and dark themes. Includes a collapsible widescreen sidebar, an adaptive grid and access to full filenames. Basic iPhone Duo layout support improves inner and outer display layouts and safe-area spacing. • Local Data and Privacy No NFM account is required, and no developer-hosted cloud drive is provided. Your device connects directly to your configured NAS, without routing files through developer servers. NAS passwords are stored locally and protected using iOS Keychain. You can choose to export diagnostics to help troubleshoot issues. Usage Notes Folder copying and moving, cross-NAS copying and moving, and copying and moving between SMB shares are not supported. Document previews, media playback and video compression depend on file formats and device capabilities. Background tasks are subject to iOS limits; uninterrupted background operation is not guaranteed. Use the app on trusted networks and prefer HTTPS WebDAV. The current client accepts self-signed certificates, so connect only to trusted servers. SMB features, encryption capabilities and file operation permissions depend on your NAS, server configuration and account permissions.
