LaneSync turns two iPhones, or an iPhone and an Apple Watch, into a finish-line timing system for sprints. No internet, no Wi-Fi network and no extra hardware: the devices talk directly to each other, so it works on any track or field. HOW IT WORKS • Sync: put the two devices side by side and tap Sync clocks. • Start: the start device calls "Runners, take your mark… Set…" and fires a starting gun after a random pause. The clock starts on the gun. • Finish: the finish iPhone films the line and detects every runner who crosses it, on the device, using body-pose detection. • Review: bring the devices back together. Step through each finish frame by frame, mark the exact moment each chest crosses the line, assign it to a runner and save. Clock drift is measured at both ends of the session and corrected, and times are shown in hundredths, rounded up as fully automatic timing does. BUILT FOR COACHES AND ATHLETES • Two phones, or one iPhone with an Apple Watch as the starter • Any distance from 5 to 1,000, in metres or yards • Groups of runners: time a whole squad, with several runners per clip • History by day and session, with PB and SB badges • Share a result card, and save finish clips to Photos • Export every time as CSV, or share sessions and personal bests (LaneSync Pro) • Light and dark appearance YOUR FIRST WORKOUT IS FREE Time your first workout free: a whole session, with as many runs as you like, reviewed and saved. After that, more workouts with that iPhone as the finish phone need LaneSync Pro on it, or on the start phone: a start phone with Pro covers the finish phone it times with. Everything you save stays free to view: History, every result with its PB and SB badges, result cards and clips saved to Photos. You can delete any of it at any time, and nothing you record is ever hidden. LANESYNC PRO An optional subscription for coaches and athletes who time regularly: • Unlimited workouts, and your start phone covers any finish phone it times with • Export every time as CSV, and share sessions and personal bests as text • Progress charts of every run at each distance • Personal-best progression over time • Each runner's own trend, or the whole squad on one chart • Last run against the PB, and the average of the last five runs New subscribers start with a 7-day free trial. If your subscription ends, everything you saved stays in History, and a session you've already started can always be finished and saved. APPLE WATCH AND HEALTH When the watch is the starter, LaneSync starts a workout session (HealthKit) only so the watch stays awake during the countdown with your wrist down. It reads no Health data and saves no workouts. PRIVACY No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Your times, runner names and clips stay on your devices. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS LaneSync Pro is an auto-renewable subscription, available monthly or yearly. New subscribers start with a 7-day free trial (once per Apple ID). When the trial ends it converts automatically to the paid plan you chose and your Apple ID is charged that plan's price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Without a trial, payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. The subscription renews automatically at the same price and for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel any time in Settings › your name › Subscriptions; cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the trial or of the period you've paid for. Prices are shown in the app and may vary by country. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internal-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ Privacy Policy: https://moonyose.github.io/lanesync-support/privacy.html Requires two iPhones, or an iPhone and a paired Apple Watch with LaneSync installed (Apple Watch works with iPhone only). The finish iPhone needs its camera.

Verdict
The clearest difference is iOS requirement: LaneSync at 16.0 against Video Stopwatch Pro's 18.2. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
