Some watches tell the time in Chinese numerals. Now your iPhone can too. Hanzi Clock is a set of analog clock widgets for your Home Screen, Lock Screen and StandBy. Each dial is drawn the way a watch dial is made: brushed steel, jade, a deep-blue wave pattern, or a plain colour, with the hours written in Chinese numerals. TEN DIALS • Five plain colours: white, teal, black, red and yellow • Five textured dials: silver, jade, ocean blue, crimson and earth SEVEN WAYS TO WRITE THE HOURS From the everyday numerals to the formal ones used on cheques and banknotes, and the Suzhou numerals once used in Hong Kong's markets. Every style is written correctly, and scripts are never mixed on one dial. WIDGETS • Small, medium and large sizes; the medium and large widgets add a calendar: month, week, flip calendar, moon phase or solar term • Lock Screen: today's lunar date, and a dial wallpaper that moves to the new numeral every hour • StandBy, with a night face that is easy on the eyes • A seconds hand that ticks once a second • Each widget can have its own dial: long-press, then Edit Widget ALSO INSIDE • A watch-setting screen that shows the time to the second and marks each full minute, for setting a mechanical watch • The 24 solar terms of the Chinese calendar, and the lunar date at a glance FREE TO TRY The white dial with the everyday numerals and the month calendar is free. One purchase unlocks every dial, numeral style and calendar, for everyone in your Family Sharing group. No subscription, no account. Available in English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Japanese.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: SeeBox at none against Hanzi Clock's 1. SeeBox also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). Hanzi Clock's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). On price and ads there is nothing between them.
