SOL Galaxy is a galaxy-traversing study timer game that transforms your time and focus into meaningful progress across a vast, interconnected universe. At its core, the experience blends productivity with exploration, strategy, and puzzle mechanics. Every action you take in real life—studying, working, or concentrating—generates fuel, the single most important resource in the game. Fuel is what allows you to move through space, interact with planets, send delegations, build embassies, collect resources, and expand your presence across the galaxy. By leaving the app when the timer is on, you will have 10 seconds to come back to the app or your fuel is wasted. The game is structured around long-term progression and discovery. Players are free to travel between planets, but access is not always straightforward. Many planets require specific items before you can land, while others demand specialized safety equipment such as thermal suits or dive rebreathers to survive their environments. This creates a layered puzzle system where exploration depends on preparation, planning, and resource management rather than simple progression. Each planet is inhabited by a unique species with its own disposition toward you. Some civilizations are open to your arrival, but most are resistant or hostile at first. In order to gain access to their resources, you must build relationships over time. This is done by sending delegations, which gradually improve how that species perceives you. Once relations reach a certain level, you gain the ability to establish an embassy on that planet. Embassies serve as your foothold, allowing you to collect that planet’s resources and integrate it into your expanding network. However, resource extraction is not without consequence. Taking resources lowers your standing with that species, introducing a constant strategic tension. If relations fall too low, the inhabitants may retaliate and destroy your embassy, forcing you to rebuild trust and start again. This system creates a balance between expansion and diplomacy, requiring careful decision-making at every stage. Progression in SOL Galaxy is intentionally extensive, offering over 800 hours of gameplay. There are 115 unique resources scattered across the galaxy, each tied to different planets and conditions. Fully completing the game requires visiting every planet, unlocking access through items and preparation, building relationships, and successfully collecting all available resources. The ultimate objective is to reach the Singularity. This endgame event only becomes available once all resources have been collected and every major objective has been completed. The Singularity represents the final destination of your journey, serving as both a culmination of your efforts and the conclusion of the galaxy’s progression system.
