Mythic Universe vs Constella Draw

Mythic Universe takes you from the stories of Greek mythology to the constellations, and from there to the real universe. Free, with no ads, in English and Greek. FOLLOW THE THREADS Every myth leads you to a constellation, and every constellation to something that is really up there. Take Orion: • Mythology: how did the great hunter rise to the stars? • Constellations: where can you find him in the sky, and why does Betelgeuse, on his shoulder, shine red? • Astronomy: what is the faint patch below his Belt, and how are new stars born there? And that’s just one Thread. Then come Perseus, Heracles, Persephone and many more myths, along with a universe of supernovae, black holes and exoplanets. EXPLORE YOUR WAY • Listen to the myth: every myth has audio narration. • Learn in plain words: texts, images, videos and 3D views. • Find it in the sky: continue in a stargazing app or in Stellarium Web to see where what you read about is. • See the unexpected: curious facts that spark new questions. • Play quizzes: they reinforce what you learned and make you think. FOR EVERY CURIOUS MIND You don’t need to know any astronomy. Explore on your own, share it with your family, bring it to your classroom or astronomy club. The app supports screen readers. The texts are based on mythological and astronomical sources, and selected facts have been checked against NASA material. New myths, constellations and astronomy topics are added regularly. FREE, WITH NO ADS All content is free. If you like, you can support development from within the app; support doesn’t unlock any extra content. …and who knows… by the end, you might discover that the real universe is even more “mythical” than the myths themselves.
