Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Aspect Ratio Pro at 100% against Sentarm's 50%. Aspect Ratio Pro also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26.0). Sentarm's advantage is price (Free vs $3.99) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Sentarm is free to download; Aspect Ratio Pro costs $3.99 up front. Sentarm sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Aspect Ratio Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.
Sentarm holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sentarm has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Sentarm's written reviews are positive against 100% of Aspect Ratio Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Sentarm ships an update weekly, Aspect Ratio Pro every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
