About

ThothMind

Panic attack? The crisis session is free. No account, no subscription, no paywall — three minutes of guided grounding, whenever a wave hits. Everything else in ThothMind is built on one idea: you shouldn't have to count your own breath. Your phone holds the rhythm and you feel it, through haptics that pulse with the pace. SIX PACED BREATHING TECHNIQUES Close your eyes, hold the phone, follow the pulse. Every technique ships with its own safety notes. - Box Breathing (4-4-4-4): equal sides, for focus under pressure. Two holds per round; shorten or skip them if you are pregnant or have a respiratory condition. - 4-7-8 Breathing: a long hold and a longer exhale, designed to support relaxation before sleep. Never while driving or in water. - Coherent 5-5: a steady five-second rhythm with no holds, designed to support heart rate variability. The gentlest place to start. - Physiological Sigh: a double nasal inhale and one long exhale, a reset that works in a single breath. Stop if you feel dizzy or tingling. - Energizing Breath: a power inhale and a quick exhale for alertness without caffeine. Not before bed, and talk to a doctor first if you have a cardiovascular condition. - Deep Calm: an extended exhale designed to support the body's relaxation response for anxiety and overwhelm. Sit or lie down for this one. SERENITY, THE VOICE Fifteen guided scripts, spoken with you rather than at you. Pause and the voice waits. Resume and it picks up mid-sentence, not from the top. 38 MEDITATION TECHNIQUES Body scan, focused attention, loving-kindness, visualization, open awareness, NSDR and more, with three guidance levels from quiet to fully guided. Pick by mood, by need or by how much time you have. SLEEP Ten soundscapes: rain, forest, ocean, fire, night, white noise, stream, thunderstorm, singing bowls, wind. Three binaural layers (alpha, theta, deep theta) to mix underneath. A sleep timer fades everything out. THRESHOLD Free to open: seven short readings on the edge of sleep, from waking unable to move (sleep paralysis) and falling asleep awake (hypnagogia) to knowing you are dreaming (lucid dreaming). Each one is labeled demonstrated, reported, unsupported or mixed, and one looks at what this field is selling you. A morning question builds a recall journal. Practices open after a short safety screening: Wind Down is free; Still Body, Wake Back to Bed and Sound and signal are Premium. Sound and signal waits for a week of answered mornings, because the studies behind it found an effect only in people who already recall dreams. CIRCLES Breathe with other people in real time. Start a circle, share the code, and everyone follows the same rhythm at the same moment. WEEKLY REVIEW Mood check-ins, a weekly review of what actually helped, and a streak that counts practice, not perfection. LANGUAGES App interface in English and Turkish. SUBSCRIPTION The crisis session and the free tier never require a subscription. ThothMind Premium unlocks the full library and is offered as auto-renewing subscriptions: app.thothmind.meditation.weekly (one week) and app.thothmind.meditation.yearly (one year). The price is shown in the app before purchase and charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings after purchase. ThothMind is designed to support everyday calm. It is not a medical device and not a substitute for professional care. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
