Menta vs Duosti

Menta helps you do what you said you were going to do. Start with one clear promise. Choose a note, photo or video as proof, set when it is due, and decide whether the result stays private or is shared with a group. When you finish, check in and keep a record of the work you completed. Use groups when you want other people involved. Members can see the shared promise, follow progress and review proof when they have been assigned to do so. You can also organise events, track attendance and use Momenta on useful boosts and appearance options. Menta includes reminders, streak history, recovery paths and clear controls for proof that is still saved on your device. You decide when proof is sent. The main promise, proof, group and event journeys are localised for the supported languages. Some secondary screens may still appear in English while localisation continues. One habit. Two people. One streak. Duosti is a habit tracker built for exactly two. Pick a habit, invite one person, and share a single streak. If either of you skips a day, it breaks. No leaderboards, no feeds, no followers. Just you, your person, and one number you're both protecting. Most habit apps are a solo checklist with social features added on. Duosti starts from the partnership. The reason you'll show up tomorrow isn't a badge. It's that someone is counting on you. HOW IT WORKS • Pick a habit: the gym, reading, a walk, a new language, meditation, drinking water, less scrolling, or anything you name yourself. • Invite one person: send your invite code by text or any messaging app. They join in a few taps. • Check in each day with one tap. When you're both done, the streak grows and you celebrate together. • Miss a day and the streak starts over. No shaming, no red marks. You just begin again, together. BUILT FOR TWO • One shared streak, drawn in both your colors • See at a glance whether your partner has checked in today • Nudge your partner when the day is running out (up to 3 a day, so it never turns into nagging) • Notifications come from your partner, not from us. No promos, no "we miss you" • A paired chain shows every day you've held together • Confetti only when you're both done. The big moment is shared. FAIR ABOUT TIME • Late nights count: by default your day ends at 3 AM, so a 1 AM check-in still counts for yesterday • Living in different time zones? Each of you can keep your own midnight • Daylight saving time won't break your streak • If your partner's check-in hasn't synced yet, the day stays open. A slow connection never breaks your streak. NO ACCOUNT. WORKS OFFLINE. • No email, no password, no sign-up. Just a display name and an avatar. • Check in, see your chain and look back at your history without a signal. Everything syncs when you're back online. • A home-screen widget shows your streak and whether your partner is done today UNLOCK TOGETHER When one of you subscribes to Duosti Premium, your partner gets Premium too. One payment, two people. DUOSTI PREMIUM • Unlimited duos: a gym streak with one friend, a reading streak with another • Streak freeze: one a month to protect a streak you've worked for. It's never used without you choosing it. • Full history (Free keeps the last 30 days) • Stats: each person's completion rate, your best streak and your weekday patterns • Multiple reminder times • Milestone share cards • Habit templates Free forever: one duo, the shared streak, daily check-ins, nudges, partner notifications and a home-screen widget. Checking in is never behind a paywall. SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS Duosti Premium is available as a yearly subscription or a monthly subscription.
