Verb drills, played as an arcade game. Translate verbs, conjugate them or name the tense of a form against the clock, in Spanish, English, Russian or Ukrainian: any pair of the four, either way. The verbs, tenses and forms come from the language you're learning; the meanings from the one you know. FOUR GAME STYLES • Classic: a question, four answers and a shrinking timer bar. • Rain: the question block falls, Tetris-like. Steer it into the right bucket before it lands. • Vortex: the question sits in the eye and the answers are drawn in from all four sides. Hit the right one before it reaches the center. • Road 3D: a synthwave road with answer gates rushing at you. Be in the right lane, or dash through early for more points. WHAT YOU PRACTICE • Translating infinitives or conjugated forms: tuvimos → we had, делали → they did. • Conjugating: tener · nosotros · Pretérito → tuvimos. • Naming the tense of a form, or all of it mixed up. • The verbs you choose: most common, irregular, stem-changing or regular, from the top 5 to all of them. About 1,000 Spanish verbs, 900 English and 550 each in Russian and Ukrainian, with full conjugation tables: 17 tenses in Spanish, 14 in English, 6 in Russian and Ukrainian. LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES • The wrong answers are the mistakes learners really make: tení for tuve, piensamos, he abrido. • Answers are spoken aloud, and after a miss the right one is shown. Turn on Pause after a mistake to study the whole tense before going on. • Every miss goes to My mistakes, and those verbs come up more often. An item leaves the list once you get it right in three different games in a row, and a practice round drills just those. • No trick questions: forms that two persons share, and verbs that mean the same, are never pitted against each other. A DICTIONARY Look up any verb by its infinitive, by any conjugated form or by a translation, and see every tense with the meaning of each form. PLAY YOUR WAY • Four paces from Chill to Blitz; rounds of 15, 30 or 60 questions, or endless; three lives. • An optional assist dims wrong answers when you need a hand, for fewer points. • Points grow with the pace, your streak and the speed of your answers. Arcade sounds, and fireworks for a new record. • A local champions board for the whole family, and optional Game Center leaderboards and achievements. • The interface speaks Spanish, English, Russian and Ukrainian. ON EVERY SCREEN iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV, played by touch, keyboard, Siri Remote or game controller. Apple Watch shows a verb of the day, with its meaning and main tenses, and the verbs of the days before. For everyone: larger text (Dynamic Type), Reduce Motion, and VoiceOver and Switch Control with three times the time for each question. No ads, no account, no data collected: everything stays on your device.
