About

Budget

Features

Budget is a simple way to track your spending and always know what's left. Set a weekly, monthly, or one-time budget and add expenses as you go. The big number at the top tells you what's left to spend, and the whole screen changes color to show how you're doing: • Green: you're on pace. • Orange: you're spending faster than the rest of the week (or month) can absorb. • Red: you're over, or well ahead of pace. Budget also works out what you can spend per day for the rest of the period, so you know whether tonight's dinner out fits. BUDGET TOGETHER Share any budget with a spouse, roommate, or family. Everyone adds expenses from their own iPhone, iPad, or Mac, and each entry shows who added it. Sharing uses iCloud, so there are no accounts to create and no sign-up. SEE WHERE IT GOES Every expense gets a category: groceries, eating out, gas, the dog, or anything you make yourself, with its own emoji and color. The Categories view shows the breakdown as a chart. MADE TO FIT HOW YOU BUDGET • Weekly, monthly, or one-time budgets (great for a trip or a project) • As many budgets as you like, each with its own target • Carry your balance: leftover money (or overspending) rolls into the next period, like a bank account • Refunds add money back to the budget • Browse past weeks and months • Archive budgets you're done with • Home screen widgets, with a button to add an expense • Optional morning check-ins and weekly or monthly recap notifications • Works on iPhone, iPad, and Mac PRIVATE BY DESIGN Nothing you enter is ever sent to the developer. Your data lives on your device and syncs through your own iCloud account. No servers, no tracking, no ads, no accounts.
