About

Swoop

Features

Swoop is a logbook and analysis tool for canopy pilots who fly with a FlySight GPS. Upload your FlySight tracks and Swoop turns raw GPS data into a clear picture of your landing: every jump is split into flight phases, plotted on a satellite map, and charted over time so you can see exactly what happened from turn initiation to the end of your rollout. TRACK LIBRARY • All your jumps in one place, with thumbnails of the flight path • Nickname and number your jumps, and delete the ones you don't need PHASE-BY-PHASE ANALYSIS • Automatic detection of exit, opening, surge, turn and rollout • Key numbers for every swoop: entry gate speed, turn height, rotation, rollout altitude, swoop distance, max speed and max vertical speed • Total, horizontal and vertical speed charted against altitude (AGL) • Scrub through the flight and watch the telemetry update in real time • Sort your library by date, speed, swoop distance or rotation to see how you're progressing MAPS & PONDS • Flight paths drawn on satellite imagery • A shared database of swoop ponds and landing areas, so your track is shown relative to the gates UPLOAD FROM ANYWHERE • Upload FlySight CSV files directly from your phone or the web • Your tracks sync between the app and swoop.loggbok.net PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Your tracks are visible only to you. No ads, no tracking. Swoop is a post-jump review and training tool. It is not a safety device and must not be used for in-flight decisions.
