Simulate real optical filters in black & white. This app uses custom CIColorKernel shaders to modulate grayscale luminance based on color vector similarity—accurately mimicking red, yellow, green, blue, and orange filters as used in film photography. Then, if needed, save the filtered image with filter information. Then, swipe left and find an automatic shutter speed calculator for applying various ND filters And that's not all; keep on swiping and you can simulate pinhole photographs before shooting!

Silverlog Pinhole calculates the optimal pinhole diameter, effective f-stop and exposure adjustments for pinhole camera photography. HOW IT WORKS Enter your focal length (the distance from pinhole to film plane) and the app calculates the optimal pinhole diameter for the sharpest possible image, the effective f-stop, and the exposure compensation needed compared to a conventional camera. FEATURES • Optimal pinhole diameter calculation • Effective f-stop calculation • Exposure times from lighting presets, with ISO and reciprocity correction • Choice of Lord or Rayleigh constant for the optimal diameter • Film and paper format support • Works offline — no internet connection needed • Clean, focused interface • Dark mode support USEFUL FOR • Building DIY pinhole cameras • Converting existing cameras to pinhole • Calculating exposures for pinhole photography • Understanding the relationship between pinhole size and image quality • Educational exploration of camera fundamentals Part of the Silverlog photography toolkit.
