Globoom

Globoom is a reflex game made for the dead moments: the subway, the waiting room, the five minutes before someone arrives. A game fits in that gap, and you can quit without losing anything. HOW TO PLAY Balloons appear with a countdown. Tap them before time runs out: let one escape and you lose a life. Tap a bomb and you lose one too. What makes it a game and not a speed test is the order. Every balloon has its own countdown and its own rule, so being fast isn't enough: you have to decide which one to pop first. EVERY BALLOON, A RULE Some take three taps, some split in two when they pop, some move around the screen, some freeze time. And then there are the bombs, which you should leave alone. 30 LEVELS, SIX WORLDS A boss every five levels, each with its own mechanic and color. Three stars per level, depending on the lives you have left at the end. And a different music track for every level. THREE WAYS TO PLAY - Levels: the campaign, from the first lesson to the final boss. - Hardcore: a single life and rising difficulty, until you fall. With an arcade-style global leaderboard: no accounts or sign-up, just your name if you make the top 10. - Daily Challenge: a specific mission that changes every day and is the same for everyone. Survive without letting a single balloon escape, or finish without touching a single bomb. With a seven-day streak. WORKS OFFLINE The whole game works without a connection. Only the global leaderboard needs the internet, and if there is none, it keeps your score and uploads it when you are back online. NO PURCHASES OR SUBSCRIPTIONS Coins are earned by playing and spent on cosmetics. There are no in-app purchases and no waiting to keep playing. The game contains ads. Handmade, without a game engine: neon, synthwave and everything drawn frame by frame. In English and Spanish.
