Follow speech with Live Translator by Quant. Choose Interpreter for one-way listening through earphones, Conversation for alternating turns, or Translation for typed text. • Interpreter keeps the phone microphone listening during earphone playback • Phone or connected headset microphone, with audio-route controls • Live captions, phrase-by-phrase translated speech, and replay • Adjustable voice, playback speed, and optional catch-up pacing • App-side phrase-delay display; Bluetooth delivery time is not included • Saved setups, favorite phrases, text-language detection, export and deletion • English, Spanish and Dutch interface support Choose among 20 language options: Arabic, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Dutch, English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese. Translation pairs, speech recognition and available voices depend on your iPhone and Apple language support. The picker indicates translation downloads and compatibility. Requires iOS 18 or later. Internet is needed for language downloads. Speech recognition stays on-device by default. If unavailable, you may explicitly allow Apple's online recognition or choose another language. Automatic conversation turns alternate the selected languages; they do not identify speakers or detect arbitrary spoken languages. Interpreter requires selected earphones. Place the phone near the speaker and keep the app open in the foreground. Disconnects or audio interruptions can stop the session. Translation is delivered in phrases with a delay, not simultaneously word by word. Long uninterrupted sessions and Bluetooth performance depend on the device, language and connection. Conversation pauses the microphone while speaking. Background and lock-screen interpreting are not supported. No account, ads or subscription. Includes 20 starter minutes; buy optional non-expiring consumable minute packs through Apple. Only successfully translated recognized source speech counts. Silence, playback, typed text, failed translations and microphone-paused time do not count. Save only phrases you want to keep. Translations may contain errors; verify important details.
