Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: 小企鹅 at none against M3UHub's 1. 小企鹅 also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). M3UHub's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.6) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 9 days). On price and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. M3UHub sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. 小企鹅 asks for nothing beyond the download.
M3UHub holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 小企鹅 has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of 小企鹅's written reviews are positive against 67% of M3UHub's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
小企鹅 ships an update every 9 days, M3UHub every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
