FORGEBORNE
Read full descriptionHide full description
FORGEBORNE is a dark-fantasy gacha auto-battler. You build a ten-card deck, deploy six onto a 3x2 tactical grid, and watch the battle resolve from the plan you made. Every fight is decided before the first strike. Frontline cards hold. Backline cards strike, heal, or break formations from cover. When a frontliner falls, the card behind it steps forward. Reserves fill empty slots. Charge builds from blows given and taken until a Signature Ability fires. There is no tapping through combat — only deployment, deck, and the line you chose to forge. Seven rarities, Common through Mythic. Forging is how a card ascends: three of a rarity, the lead card at max level, and a new card of the next rarity is made. Each time a card hits max level it unlocks a Legacy ability. That ability stays with the lineage as you keep forging. Pulled cards arrive with random perks. Forging is how you choose what the line becomes. Five elemental shards — fire, ice, lightning, earth, and acid — and gear sets you farm and fit to a warband. Gold, gems, and energy gate the day. Gems buy card packs. Every pack in the Store prints its rarity odds on the tile, and some packs carry a pity line. Seven campaigns, each a territory with a named finale: The Ashmarch, Ember Shard — Warden-Marshal Victor Vray at Wardhall's Fall. The Reliquary, Vesper Shard — High Vessel Ilyandra Voss at the Vessel's Rest. Verinport, Bond Shard — First Ledger Cassian Thorne at the Ledger-Eternal. Frosthold, Wyrd Shard — the Hoarfather at the Hoarfather's Throne. Sar-Idun, Kindred Shard — Ovaan Duskhorn at the Shard-Bearer's Vigil. Mireroot, Heartwood Shard — Thessaly Mossbind at the Heartwood Grove. Aurel Vale, Genesis Shard — the Hollow King at the Hollowed Throne. Gather the seven Shards. Reforge what the Compact broke. End the thing that would not leave the throne.
