Aquilingo teaches English from the very beginning to people who speak Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Uzbek or Russian. Free, all of it. No subscription, no payments, no registration: open the app and the first lesson starts right there. Works offline. Every word, picture and recording ships inside the app, so neither mobile data nor Wi-Fi is needed. Ten short exercises make a lesson. New words, picking a word from a picture, listening, building a sentence out of loose words, filling in the missing word, matching pairs. Pronunciation practice. In some exercises you say the English word into the microphone and the app turns what it heard into text so you can see how it came out. Any such exercise can be skipped: without a microphone the course is still open end to end. The course starts at zero (A0). It is written for someone who has never studied English before. Interface languages: Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Uzbek and Russian. The app explains English to you in your own language; you choose that language the first time you open the app and can change it whenever you like. No daily streak, no hearts to buy back, no advertising.
