dB Meter Pro turns your iPhone into a precise, private sound level meter. Measure the noise around you in real time — accurately, beautifully, and without ever recording your audio. WHY dB METER PRO • Accurate by design — A, C and Z weighting (dBA/dBC/dBZ) to the IEC 61672 standard, verified by automated tests. • Truly private — the microphone is used only to measure. Audio is never recorded, stored or sent. • One calm screen — live level with MIN, AVG, MAX and PEAK, a real-time frequency spectrum, and plain-language comparisons like "normal conversation" or "city traffic". • Protect your hearing — a noise-dose tracker following NIOSH and OSHA standards warns you before sound becomes risky. • Per-device calibration — fine-tune to a reference for trustworthy readings on your exact iPhone. PRO • Octave-band spectrum analyzer • Trends and full history, with CSV and PDF export • iCloud sync, widgets and Live Activity PERFECT FOR home and office noise, concerts, workshops, sleep environments and hearing-safety awareness. dB Meter Pro is a measurement aid for everyday awareness, not a certified Class 1/2 instrument. Vgent helps maintenance teams inspect industrial equipment using vibration measurements and operating sound. Keep measurement points, reports and repair follow-up together for motors, pumps, fans, gearboxes and other equipment. CAPTURE VIBRATION OR SOUND Use the built-in microphone for acoustic inspections and unusual-noise checks. Vibration measurement requires a compatible, calibrated USB vibration sensor connected and bound to Vgent using its supplied pairing QR code. Acoustic recordings reflect changes in sound; they do not replace calibrated vibration measurements. BUILD REPEATABLE INSPECTIONS Create equipment records with photos, measurement locations, directions and operating conditions. Follow multi-point capture rounds, review progress and resume unfinished work. Generate equipment QR labels and scan them to find equipment already saved on your device. REVIEW THE EVIDENCE View overall and point-level reports, waveforms, spectra and capture quality. Add manual review labels to the relevant points while retaining the original diagnostic findings. Filter report history and export PDF reports for maintenance discussions. FOLLOW CHANGES AND REPAIRS Compare compatible measurements over time. Record repair actions, dates, outcomes and photos, then review suitable follow-up measurements. Preview the normal and abnormal samples used when rebuilding a device trend model. KEEP RECORDS ORGANIZED Export and restore complete backup folders through the system Files picker. Backup status helps identify changes since the last export. Optional data contribution is off by default and is separate from access to diagnosis features. OPTIONAL ON-DEVICE INTERPRETATION On supported devices, interpretation organizes saved diagnostic evidence for review without changing the original diagnosis severity. This feature requires iOS 26 or later, Apple Intelligence enabled, a ready on-device model and a supported app language. Reports and trend conclusions remain available when interpretation is unavailable. For useful comparisons, keep measurement location, sensor mounting or microphone position, and equipment operating conditions consistent. Vgent supports inspection and maintenance review; results depend on capture quality and the available evidence.
