About

Long Live

You are the crown. From Roman Britain to the red dust of Mars, every decision that reaches your throne is yours alone — and none of them are simple. Six factions surround you: the Council, the Nobles, the Commons, the People, the Press and the powers abroad. Each wants something different. Let any one of them fall to nothing and they will remove you, permanently. Keep them all content and you may last a decade longer than the last ruler did. Between the decisions lies a living world map. Every rival nation is a named house with its own ruler, its own grudges and a long memory. Send them gifts. Plant a spy in their court. Fund unrest in their provinces until the ground is soft enough to march on. Marry into them, absorb them by treaty, or take them by force — and discover that a province taken at swordpoint stays disloyal for a generation, while one won by marriage settles in a season. Rule with an iron hand and your revolts are easily crushed — but keep your army strong, or the generals will come for you. Rule with an open hand and your provinces grow loyal and forgiving — but the world will read it as weakness, and act on it. When your ruler dies, you choose between heirs: the darling of the army, the people's own, the brilliant but frail, the child betrothed to a foreign house. Their gifts and flaws shape the entire reign that follows. FEATURES • 471 hand-written decisions, each with real consequences • A living world map with real geography — court, spy on, undermine or conquer any nation at any time • Named rival dynasties that remember what you did to them, across generations • Six eras of history, from Roman Britain to interplanetary rule, each with its own crises • Choose your heir, and inherit their strengths and weaknesses • Events summoned by the state of your realm: starve the people and riots come; grow rich and foreign kings develop an interest in your ports • Three difficulties, from a forgiving first dynasty to a crown everyone wants • No adverts. No in-app purchases. No internet required. One price, the whole game. How long can your house last?
