CPP SAFE is the official public safety app of Cal Poly Pomona and integrates with CPP’s Safety Alert System. The app provides students, faculty, and staff with added safety and emergency preparedness on the Cal Poly Pomona campus. The app will send you important safety alerts and provide instant access to campus safety resources. CPP SAFE features include: - Safety Alerts: When the Safety Alert System is utilized during a campus emergency, the app will push safety messages to your phone. - Mobile Bluelight: Send your location to Cal Poly Pomona University Police Department (UPD) in real-time in case of a crisis. - Friend Walk: Send your location to a friend through email or SMS on your device. Once the friend accepts the Friend Walk request, you would choose a destination and your friend tracks your location in real time; they can keep an eye on you to make sure you make it safely to your destination. - Virtual WalkHome: Allow the University Police Department to monitor your walk.
