The Hyper Edohaku XR Museum is an interactive app that lets you use your smartphone to enjoy exhibitions and city walks in tandem. Point your camera inside the Edo-Tokyo Museum or at street corners throughout modern-day Tokyo, and scenes and people from the Edo, Meiji, Taisho, and Showa periods will vividly come to life through AR (Augmented Reality). Furthermore, every time you visit a location, you’ll receive an “Edo-Haku Card,” which will be added to your collection within the app. We’re introducing a new way to experience museums—one where you can have fun learning while exploring on foot and collecting history.
