Track your dog walks with GPS, count your own steps, and head out at the best time of day. PawTrail records every route, distance, duration and pace, shows how much of your day you walked with your dog, tells you when the weather is right for the next walk, and shows how your dog ranks against the dogs around you. YOUR DOG WALK LOG From a quick puppy walk to a longer outing, follow your route on the map and look back at every walk with its route, distance, duration, pace and elevation. The routes you walk often show up by themselves, with stats for each one. If iOS ends the app in the background during a walk, the walk resumes when PawTrail comes back and nothing is lost. WALK AT THE BEST TIME Set a rough home area and your usual walk times, and PawTrail checks the forecast for exactly those. See the best window in today's forecast, the next 24 hours and the 5-day outlook, check the weather on your usual routes, and get a heads-up when rain, heat or wind is forecast for your usual walk time. Your local walking weather starts at home, even on days without a walk. HOW DOES YOUR DOG RANK? Join the leaderboard and see where your dog stands among the dogs near your home, dogs of the same breed and everyone on PawTrail, this week, this month and all time. Invite friends and see whose dog walks the most. Taking part is optional and shares only your dog's name, breed, photo, walking totals and a rough home area, never your routes, times or address. Leave at any time in Settings. YOUR STEPS, YOUR DOG'S WALKS Connect Apple Health to see your daily steps, your step goal and an hourly chart, and how much of your day you spent walking with your dog. YOUR DOG'S TAG Every finished walk adds to your dog's tag: distance, walking time, streaks, personal bests, favorite walk times and the streets you walk most. Set daily and weekly distance goals for each dog and follow the progress. SHARE YOUR DOG WITH THE FAMILY Share a dog through iCloud, like a note or a reminders list. Everyone in the household sees every walk, and each walk shows who took it. No account to create. Your walks also sync across your own devices. ON YOUR WRIST AND HOME SCREEN Follow the walk on Apple Watch with time, distance, heart rate and calories, pause and finish it from your wrist, and save it to Apple Health as a workout. Follow the current walk with Live Activities, add widgets for your week, your pack, the next walk and the walking weather, and start a walk from Control Center, Siri or Shortcuts. Plan walks ahead with reminders and report hazards you encounter on your route. PAWTRAIL PRO PawTrail is free to download. Recording walks, today's progress, steps, the leaderboard, widgets and Apple Watch are free. PawTrail Pro adds your dog's tag, the full walk history and routes, the weather outlook, walk planning and sharing your dog with the family. Pro is a one-time purchase: pay once and keep it forever, with no subscription. Auto-renewable subscription plans may also be offered. Available options and local prices are shown in the app before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The one-time purchase does not renew. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings.
