US Crop Yields puts decades of USDA NASS yield history at your fingertips, with no internet connection required. Every number is bundled directly into the app, so it works anywhere: in the field, at the elevator, or prepping for a client meeting. WHAT'S INCLUDED • National, state, Crop Reporting District (CRD), and county-level yields • Corn and soybeans • The 18 leading corn- and soybean-producing states • Full historical range where available, back to the 1910s–1920s for many states • Crop Reporting District yields reconstructed using a production-weighted methodology where official CRD data isn't published (fully documented in-app) TWO WAYS TO VIEW THE DATA • Table: browse exact figures by crop, level, state, district, county, and year • Graph: visualize trends over any custom year range, with a linear trend line, R², standard deviation, detrended standard deviation, coefficient of variation, and automatic outlier detection — plus a scrubber to inspect individual years WHO IT'S FOR Farmers, crop consultants, agronomists, ag lenders, students, and anyone who needs a fast, offline reference for historical yield performance by geography. FREE TO START The app is free to download, with full National and Kansas data included at every level. A one-time purchase unlocks all 18 states — no subscription, ever. This app is an independent reference tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by USDA. See the in-app Data Sources & Methodology page for full details on data provenance and CRD reconstruction methodology.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: US Crop Yields at 5.0 against King School's 1.0. King School's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. US Crop Yields sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. King School asks for nothing beyond the download.
US Crop Yields holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: King School has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
