About

Davexa Connect

Davexa Connect is the companion app for Davexa Studio on iPhone. It combines two important tasks in one app: reading NFC data from printer rolls and using the iPhone as a wireless camera for Davexa Studio on iPad. When scanning, Davexa Connect helps you capture printer rolls quickly and cleanly. The app reads compatible NFC chips, stores rolls and scan history, and keeps this information synchronized across your devices. This keeps important roll data available and also visible in Davexa Studio. For everyday work, the app is designed to stay simple. You can manage scans directly in the app and, if you want, start scanning automatically when opening it. This saves time and is especially useful when the iPhone is used as a fast tool during daily operation. Davexa Connect can also be used as a camera for Davexa Studio. In this mode, the iPhone connects wirelessly to the iPad and sends the camera preview for photobooth use. You can adjust the camera, lens, mirroring, flash, HDR, zoom, exposure, and the quality of the live stream. This allows the iPhone to fit flexibly into different setups. Davexa Connect is therefore suitable both as a practical scanning app for roll data and as a mobile extension for your Davexa photobooth. The app supports a clear and reliable workflow, whether at home or in professional use. During longer camera streaming sessions, the iPhone may warm up because of ongoing processing. For stable results, it is recommended to keep the device in an air-conditioned environment or at least in the shade.
