VoidUp finds what's quietly filling your phone and lets you clear it in a few taps. Run a storage scan and it sorts duplicates, near-identical shots, blurry frames, old screenshots and videos the size of a movie into their own groups. Open the AI Find tab, pick any photo, and VoidUp looks through the whole gallery for every shot like it: the same cat from forty angles, a week of parking lot photos, ten copies of one meme. Keep the good ones and clear the rest. AI Find also builds collections out of what's actually in your photos. If you shoot a lot of food, receipts, dogs or cats, each gets its own collection with a count and the space it takes. Open one and check off what you don't need. Prefer to decide one photo at a time? Swipe through a pile like a deck of cards, left to delete and right to keep. Pick a pile by category, by month or from your AI collections. Some videos are too big to keep and too good to lose. Compress them up to 4x smaller at the quality you choose, then decide whether to keep the original. Everything runs on your phone. Photos aren't uploaded anywhere, and the scan works offline. Deleted photos go to Recently Deleted, where they stay for 30 days. VoidUp shows you how to empty it, so the space really comes back. Scanning is free. Cleanup and the full set of tools come with VoidUp Premium, a weekly or yearly subscription. Privacy Policy: https://phonecleaner.site/privacy.html Terms of Use: https://phonecleaner.site/terms.html

Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: VoidUp at 100% against PDF Reader's 0%. VoidUp also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (135 vs 2). PDF Reader's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VoidUp sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and PDF Reader sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
PDF Reader holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VoidUp has 135 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of VoidUp's written reviews are positive against 0% of PDF Reader's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
