Take Back Control I used to struggle a lot with procrastination. I always wished I could be like successful people—staying focused on my work, finding something I’m truly good at, and reaching my full potential. But I often gave up too soon or got distracted too easily. That changed when I discovered the Pomodoro Technique—a method of breaking time into small chunks and balancing focus with rest. It helped me maintain steady productivity and actually achieve my goals. I even built my own app, Dattii, based on this technique. I use it every day myself, and it’s helped me overcome procrastination and anxiety while giving me a stronger sense of control over my daily rhythm. I highly recommend you try Dattii too and see how it can transform your workflow. - Students → study smarter - Professionals → finish what matters - ADHD-friendly → structure without overwhelm * Attention Spans Are Collapsing - Average focus: 47 seconds - 50%+ feel unproductive - Structured focus = +126% productivity * Focus = Your Brain’s Gym - Train concentration like a muscle - Beat procrastination - Stay aware of time - Protect your energy * Distraction = Big Money Drain - 23 minutes lost per interruption - 9% of global GDP → gone - $438B wasted every year * Digital Overload Is Real - 117 emails / 153 chats / 275 interruptions -- daily - 60% of time wasted on “work about work”
Chronicle

Chronicle is a work journal designed to help you track what you actually did - not just what was easy to find later. Pull requests and published posts are easy to surface at review time. The Slack conversation where you unblocked a teammate, the thorough code review, the new hire you helped onboard - those are harder to remember and easy to leave off your self-evaluation. Chronicle gives you a lightweight place to log them as they happen, so that when review season comes around, your record is already there. Weekly goals, always in reach Create a pinned entry for your weekly priorities and it stays at the top of your list all week. When the week ends, pin your new goals - the old ones are archived alongside everything you logged, giving you context for how your priorities evolved over time. Organized when you need it Filter your entries by tag, date range, or both. At review time, pull up everything from the last period with a relevant tag and you have the raw material for a brag document - without having to reconstruct it from memory. iCloud sync Your entries are stored in your private iCloud account and sync across your iPhone and Mac. Your data belongs to you. Chronicle is a side project built to solve a real problem. It's opinionated, fast, and gets out of the way.
