Since I was a kid, I’ve always loved looking up a the sky, wondering where the planes are headed towards. It’s just, there is something magical about spotting a plane and letting my imagination go wild, guessing where planes are coming from, trying to guess what model a plane is. That’s why I made Zephy. It’s a little app for people (like me) who just can’t stop watching the skies above. So, what can Zephy do? With Zephy, you can do more than just look. You can see what aircraft are flying above you with the radar, filter them by distance, altitude, direction, or only show the aircrafts that are in the air. You can even track a specific aircraft and see where it came from, where it’s going, and get directional input with the built-in compass. Or, if you’re feeling lazy, just use the “Track Closest Plane” button and Zephy will pick the nearest one for you. And now for the million dollar question. Why Zephy? I made it to be simple, personal, and clutter-free. No overwhelming data, no feeling like you’re in a crowded control tower. Just an app for people, who (like me) can’t resist looking up and seeing what’s flying above them. And if there are clouds in the way, you can always use the radar to find where the planes are.

Treinwijzer turns your Apple Watch into a practical journey companion for Dutch train journeys. It is built for the moments when you need an answer quickly: which train should I take, which platform do I need, is my connection still safe, and what changed while I was on the move? Plan a journey from your wrist, check live station departures, inspect disruption details, and keep your current trip in the Now view and Smart Stack widget. Treinwijzer keeps the most useful information close: departure and arrival times, delays, platforms, train services, transfer timing, cancellations, train length, crowding, route stops, and service messages. When you start tracking a journey, Treinwijzer focuses on the next action instead of making you read a full timetable. It can alert you before a transfer or destination, flag missed or cancelled connections, and help you look for alternatives when a journey changes. Made for daily Dutch rail journeys: - Plan train trips directly on Apple Watch - View live departures for any station - Browse disruptions and maintenance with clear detail pages - Pick stations from favourites, recent stations, nearby stations, A-Z lists, or voice input - Track an active journey with delays, platforms, transfers, and cancellations - Get optional trip reminders and service alerts - Keep the active journey visible in the Smart Stack widget - Built with VoiceOver, Larger Text, Dark Interface, sufficient contrast, Reduced Motion, and non-colour-only status cues in mind Treinwijzer is independent and does not require an account.

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Zephy at none against Treinwijzer's 1. Zephy also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
