Project Visionary
Read full descriptionHide full description
Visionary is an app designed for the visually impaired with the main goal of serving as their eyes. The app currently has a main feature, which is food item freshness detection. The function serves to detect organic produce (e.g. fruits / vegetables), precooked meals and provide information on its ripeness if applicable, indicating whether it is rotten or fresh to the user. The app would also verbally provide additional details about the organic produce as well as provide storage tips. It also can identify any allergies and if the meal is vegan or not. Please do note that this is an early prototype and a work in progress so do stand by for more features to come in future updates.
