iGuyton estimates the analogue of mean systemic filling pressure (Pmsa), the pressure gradient for venous return (Pvr) and heart efficiency (Eh) from six values you already have at the bedside: central venous pressure, mean arterial pressure, cardiac output, age, height and weight. No inspiratory holds, no circulatory arrest, no extra equipment. FREE • Bedside calculator (Parkin and Leaning, J Clin Monit Comput 2008): Pmsa, Pvr and Eh. • Results update as you type, with checks on impossible values. • "How to measure" guide with diagrams of the Guyton curves and of the effect of fluids and inotropes. IGUYTON PREMIUM • Guyton diagram: venous return line reaching zero flow at Pmsa, the operating point (CVP, cardiac output) and a schematic cardiac function curve; resistance to venous return (RVR), body surface area and the c coefficient. • Cases: keep your 10 most recent cases, each with as many measurements as you need (baseline, after fluids, after a vasopressor or inotrope…). • Trends of Pmsa, Pvr and Eh over time. • PDF report with results, diagrams, measurement table, trends, method and reference, ready to print or share. • Archive export and import to move your cases to another device. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account, no analytics, no advertising. Cases and reports stay on your device. SUBSCRIPTION iGuyton Premium is an auto-renewing yearly subscription with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase after the trial. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your account settings. ROTEM
Read full descriptionHide full description
ROTEM (rotational thromboelastometry) is a point-of-care viscoelastic test that evaluates coagulation in real time using whole blood, rather than just providing an isolated number like PT or aPTT. In just a few minutes, it shows how the clot forms, how firm it is, and whether it degrades, through its channels (EXTEM, INTEM, FIBTEM, APTEM, HEPTEM) and parameters (CT, CFT, A5/A10, MCF, ML). It is a key tool for guiding transfusion therapy in trauma, cardiac surgery, postpartum hemorrhage, and severe perioperative bleeding. The problem: ROTEM provides a lot of information quickly... but interpreting it under pressure, remembering normal ranges, and translating it into a concrete action plan isn't always easy, especially outside clinical areas where it is used daily. That’s where ROTEM Interpreter comes in. Enter the values from the terminal, and the app does the rest: Live temogram: As you type, the clot morphology for each channel is drawn—just as you see it on the device—connecting the numbers with the visual image to cement the pattern in your memory. Automatic interpretation: Identifies key patterns: hyperfibrinolysis, fibrinogen vs. platelet deficiency, factor deficiency, heparin effect, and hypercoagulability. Suggested action with dosing: Translates the findings into practical recommendations, calculating fibrinogen dosage (based on target A5 increase and body weight) and A5-guided platelet dosing. Step-by-step management algorithm: (EXTEM/FIBTEM) featuring zoom and pan capabilities for detailed exploration. Integrated guide: Test portfolio, diagnostic patterns, fibrinogen calculation, and an evidence and guidelines section (Cochrane, European Trauma Guideline, ESAIC, EACTS, NICE, OBS2) with links to the original sources. Device-saved interpretation history: 100% offline, light/dark modes, for both adult and pediatric profiles. Who is this for: Intensivists, anesthesiologists, emergency physicians, hematologists, and residents who want to interpret ROTEM quickly and confidently at the bedside. Decision support tool: This app does not replace clinical judgment or correlation with the patient's context; always verify against local ranges and protocols.

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: iGuyton at Free against ROTEM's $2.99. iGuyton also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). ROTEM's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 15 months). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.
